107th Annual General Meeting

Members are advised the 107th Annual General Meeting will be held on

Date: Saturday May 4that 1030hrs
Venue: HMNZS Toroa, 211 St Andrew Street

BUSINESS

  1. Confirmation of the minutes of the 106th Annual General Meeting held on Saturday 25thMarch 2023
  2. Adoption of the Annual Reports & Annual Accounts for year ended December 31, 2023
  3. Confirmation of Office Bearers.
  4. Confirmation of Honorary Solicitor
  5. Confirmation of Auditors
  6. General Business

DUNEDIN SERVICES ANZAC DAY 2024

  • 6.15 am Parade – March on corner Crawford & Rattray Street
  • 6.30 am Dawn Service - Cenotaph Queens Gardens
  • 9.30 am Posy Laying – Andersons Bay Soldiers Cemetery
  • 11 am Montecillo Veterans Home & Hospital – Raising HMNZS TOROA Ensign
  • 1 pm University of Otago Anzac Day Service University
  • Plaza ( adjacent to the Staff Club)
  • 1 pm Upper Junction Memorial Service – Upper Junction Road, Dunedin.

POSY MAKING

Volunteers are required to make over 4000 Posy’s on Wednesday 24th of April at HMNZS TOROA, 211 St Andrew Street, Dunedin from 9 am- 12 noon.
Donations of Rosemary would be greatly appreciated and can be dropped of on the 23rd April between 10am – 2pm at back door of HMNZS Toroa via the Bow Lane entrance.
Donations on the 24th can be dropped off at HMNZS Toroa , 211 St Andrew Street from 8.30am
This year each posy will be made with a sprig of rosemary and red paper.
Rosemary symbolises remembrance, red paper the poppy.
On ANZAC Day the Posy’s are laid by Girl Guides and Brownies at the Services’ Section of Anderson’s Bay Cemetery at the 9.30am Service.
Tea and coffee will be provided, and volunteers are requested to bring their own scissors and secateurs.

Welcome to the Dunedin RSA


The Dunedin RSA is a small, friendly club.

Members are welcome to attend Friday nights at the Garrison Club at Kensington Army Hall, Bridgeman Street, South Dunedin.

Bar open from 5.30pm – with good bar prices and a friendly atmosphere.

Just sign the visitors book and let yourself be known – a great way for members of Dunedin RSA to socialise and ideal for new members.

Membership of the Dunedin RSA is open to anyone aged over 18.
